Marketing Communications / Business Administration Assistant

Scope of Position:

Marketing, communication & administration for our company - Paid Training - Travel Opportunities -Management for those that qualify.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Implementation of marketing plans, including product positioning, campaign strategies, and market strategy insights.

Discovery of strategic business opportunities through cross function collaboration with sales, HR, etc.

Marketing opportunity for revenue.

Provide product/service support in order to establish proper channels of information and communication.

Responsible for branding, advertising, trade shows, company events and promotional collateral

Work with management on projects dealing with media relations, business communications, success stories

 

·         Required Years and Area of Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising or Journalism

Minimum (0) zero to (5) five years of relevant experience in marketing management with proven success, however we offer paid training

Must have wide range of experience and understanding of the marketing including product positioning, pricing, promotions, market research, sales and distribution.

Should be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently. Need strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure.

Experience working with agency/client partners, exhibiting the ability to generate maximum return through effective marketing strategies and direction.

Field Marketing Manager

 

·         Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

 

§  Developing and Implementing Retail Marketing/Advertising Strategies to Meet Traffic, Sales and Profitability Growth Projections (70%). 

§  Developing annual local marketing plans in partnership with Store Sales and Operations to deliver against Traffic and Sales goals for each region.

§  Developing local market activation programs to drive TRAFFIC.

§  Collaborating in the creation and implementation of the annual promotional and event calendar.

§  Developing and implementing appropriate marketing programs congruent with the Ashley brand and brand architecture to increase brand awareness, acquire new customers, improve traffic quantity and quality, increase conversion rates and retain customers in each region.

§  Develop local market promotions and events to drive incremental qualified store traffic.

§  Develop third party marketing partnership strategy and deliver unique partnership marketing programs to drive increased traffic.

§  Developing and implementing marketing strategies to support specific product initiatives.

§  Participating in the planning and support of retail location grand openings and re-openings.

§  In partnership with Sr. Director of Media Strategy and Execution, developing and managing specific local advertising initiatives relative to print, radio, television, billboard, etc. to maximize investments and drive in store traffic.

§  Developing customer experience recommendation and corresponding in-store point-of-purchase (POP) program strategy.

§  Collaborating with the Marketing, Finance, IT, Merchandising, Creative and Visual teams to drive marketing tactics and to coordinate efforts among all functions and channels.

§  Working with Marketing Analyst to provide detailed measurement and reporting on TRAFFIC and sales while identifying and recommending changes to improve effectiveness.

  

Required Years and Area of Experience:

 

§  BA/BS in Advertising, Business Administration, Marketing or related degree; MBA or Master’s a plus. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

§  Seven years’ experience managing a field marketing operation; B2C marketing and/or advertising function in a high volume, big box, multi-retail store environment; experience in furniture retail a plus.

§  Proven record of accomplishment of developing and executing effective regional marketing plans and campaigns that produce strong business results. 

 

Senior Manager- Merchandising Financials and Reporting

Scope of Position:

§  5+ year’s management experience in ecommerce or a relevant operations field MBA or equivalent experience

§  Experience managing a large team in eCommerce or relevant operations field Process-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills

§  Ability to think strategically and tactically within a dynamic, fast-paced organization

§  Extremely collaborative and effective in a cross-functional environment

§  Ability to manage through ambiguity, stress, adversity and conflict to establish focus and deliver against business goals

§  Able to quickly learn necessary technical tools. Experience with SQL a plus.
